[HDRI] automated HDR capture

Dear all,

I am using a Canon EOS 5D MARK III digital camera with EF 8-15mm f/4L
Fisheye USM lens to take HDR image. I need to automate HDR capture during
my experiment. I was wondering if you could advise me what is the best way
to have an automated capturing.

Hi Raha,

I am sure that there are many options, but I would recommend to look at the gphoto2 project. It offers you command-line tools to set the capture properties, acquire images and transfer them to an attached computer. If these are called e.g. by crond you have a nice automated monitoring system.
